Short Biography:
Corina Flühmann, *1963, lives and works in Zurich
• CF studied Applied Psychology, gaining a diploma in Business/Organisational Psychology and Careers Advice. Worked as a careers adviser for 5 years. Internship year in advertising photography, followed by studies at the Zurich School of Design where she gained a university of applied sciences (FH) Design diploma in Visual Communications, specialising in Photography.
• Freelance photographer since 2005. She is specialized in portraits and storytelling.
• Teaches at Zurich University of the Arts (Propaedeutics Studies) and at Lucerne School of Art and Design (certificate of university teaching principles).
• From 2007 until 2015 she was working on a long-term photography project on urban development: The book “Weststrasse Zürich” has been published in may 2015 by Edition Patrick Frey.
• She is currently working on a long-term photographic study on migration.
